An estates team at a major NHS Trust brought us in to support them with the relaunch of a CAFM system which was not operating to its full potential.
Following an in-depth analysis of the system, as well as end-to-end process reviews, we devised a 12-month roadmap for significant improvements, including a Benefits Realisation Plan.
Embedding ourselves within the team, we agreed short and medium-term objectives, including improving the quality of data capture, training the trade staff and upgrading the CAFM system to the latest version.
At the end of 2017, the Estates team fulfilled their objectives and achieved a major milestone; the introduction of an improved Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule to the hospitals, ensuring easier and more accurate reporting of statutory compliance.
