CI Projects were commissioned to help migrate all data from Public Folders (local drives) to a newly designed, bespoke SharePoint platform. We worked with departmental leads from over 50 academic departments to capture requirements and ways of working. This enabled us to decommission over 50,000 Public Folders and migrate all teams to SharePoint. We worked with the technical IT developers to translate business requirements and processes into a technical specification, which enabled bespoke workflows to achieve efficiency in ways of working. Many manual processes and activities such as scanning and printing were reduced as a result of the move to SharePoint, resulting in a positive financial and environmental impact.
