World Liver Day: Supporting a Cause That’s Close to Home

CI Projects Team on World Liver Day

Earlier this week, the team at CI Projects marked World Liver Day, coming together to raise funds and awareness in support of The British Liver Trust, the UK’s leading liver health charity.

World Liver Day is about shining a light on liver health and the millions of people affected by liver disease across the UK. At CI Projects, this year’s campaign was not just a date in the calendar – it was a cause that resonated deeply with our team.

A Team‑Led Initiative with Real Impact

Our colleagues pulled together a fantastic spread of fresh fruit and healthy treats, creating a welcoming space in the office while raising vital funds for liver disease research and support services.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our team, we have raised £225 so far. These funds will support The British Liver Trust’s work in:

  • Educating people about liver health and prevention
  • Raising awareness of liver disease and its long‑term impact
  • Funding research into treatment and early diagnosis
  • Providing support services for people and families affected by liver conditions across the UK

Why It Matters to Us

Many of CI Projects’ charity initiatives are led and shaped by our people. In this case, the connection was particularly personal. Some of our colleagues have seen the impact of liver disease first‑hand within their families, making this cause especially close to home.

Taking time to recognise World Liver Day was an opportunity to stand together, have important conversations about health, and support a charity doing critical work nationwide.

Living Our Values Beyond the Workplace

At CI Projects, we believe meaningful change doesn’t stop with the work we do for our clients. Supporting our communities, championing health and wellbeing, and giving our people a platform to lead causes they care about are central to who we are.

Marking World Liver Day was a reminder of the power of small collective actions – whether that’s raising awareness, fundraising, or simply starting conversations that help reduce stigma and improve understanding around health conditions.

Thank You

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our team for their compassion, commitment and generosity. It was a privilege to spend the day fundraising for a cause that truly matters.
