Continuous Improvement Projects Ltd were commissioned by the Board of Directors to lead a strategic Organisational Design review and implementation.

We had already worked with the Board on development of a refreshed corporate-wide strategy and a functional strategy refresh. In parallel, we supported the Executive Board with undertaking a review of the strategic composition of functional elements through an Organisation Design review. Our aim was to review and assure the existing structure as ‘fit for purpose’ for the next stage of business development and identify any key areas of improvement that would strengthen the business as they grow their service offerings. We facilitated a series of workshops with Board Directors and Senior Leaders to review the following business aspects:

  • Purpose
  • Systems
  • Culture
  • Leadership
  • People
  • Structure

This review concluded a number of elements of reorganisation across the Operations team, Finance team and other functional teams.

We developed a plan and managed the project including all key dependencies and HR aspects.

The changes identified through the Organisational Design review enabled the company to deliver on the strategic objectives they had set out, to continue to improve their performance and stabilise outputs, to develop their capabilities and to prepare for future growth.
