CI Projects is a boutique business consultancy committed to helping businesses continuously improve by enabling the true convergence of people, processes, and technology. We work closely with clients to define the issue, the destination, and how to get there – and then provide the tools and confidence so they can keep improving long after we’ve gone.

We’re looking for a client‑facing Change Project Manager who thrives in people‑centric environments, understands how organisations function, and can confidently lead HR‑driven change in a structured, empathetic, and business‑focused way. If you’re passionate about helping teams navigate restructuring, supporting HR functions, and ensuring change lands successfully, this role is for you.

Role overview

This is a client‑facing, delivery‑focused role centred on supporting the successful delivery of a HR People Restructure within a government contract. As a Change Project Manager at CI Projects, you will work directly with the HR team, leadership, and key operational stakeholders to guide the organisation through a complex people‑change journey.

Your role is to look beyond HR processes alone bringing a business‑wide perspective to how organisational changes will impact culture, performance, ways of working, and team dynamics. You will help shape, coordinate, and embed the change, ensuring clarity, engagement, and readiness across the workforce.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the change delivery for a government‑sector HR restructure, ensuring people impacts are clearly understood and managed effectively
  • Work closely with HR teams to support planning, communication, consultation activities, and overall change execution
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and identify organisational risks, readiness gaps, and support needs
  • Develop and coordinate change artefacts including comms plans, FAQs, briefing packs, manager guidance, and transition materials
  • Facilitate workshops, engagement sessions, and conversations that help leaders and teams understand and adopt new structures
  • Provide structured change leadership to help the business drive adoption, build confidence, and sustain new ways of working

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated experience delivering people‑focused change, ideally within HR, restructuring, OD, or organisational change programmes
  • Strong understanding of people impacts, behavioural change, and leadership support during organisational transitions
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management skills with the confidence to engage, challenge, and influence at all levels
  • A structured, proactive, consulting‑led mindset with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex changes into clear, accessible messaging
  • Ability to view change through a business‑wide lens, not just HR, ensuring decisions drive long‑term organisational effectiveness

Contract & working pattern

  • 3-6 Months Contract
  • Hybrid: 2 days on‑site + 1 day working from home
  • Government contract environment requiring professionalism, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal sensitivity
