For the fifth year running, the Hillingdon Chamber of commerce organised the Hillingdon Business Expo which CI projects was proud to be a part of. The Expo which took place on the 30th of May 2019, aims to bring local businesses together to network and promote growth in order to strengthen the borough. This fantastic event was free thanks to sponsors and the Brunel University who hosted the event.

Over 100 business were in attendance and there was an exciting mix of businesses ranging from hypnotists, VR experience, business consultants and social enterprises. Some big business were present including Heathrow, Intu and Metro bank. With over 1600 guests in attendance, CI Projects came away with many business contacts and promising opportunities for the future.   Besides a chance to network, exhibitors were treated to breakfast, a BBQ lunch and a drinks reception to close out the evening out.

On the 11th of June, we were also privileged to attend the Kingston Expo. The day began with a complimentary breakfast and featured speed networking, silent seminars and a free Business Advice Hub. The keynote speaker was Joy Foster, founder of TechPixies, a social enterprise that helps women return to work or change careers by offering a social media magic course. CI Projects got to meet a range of businesses including local hotel managers, charities and bigger business like Chessington World of Adventures and McDonald.

Both events were definitely a day well spent investing in our growth and we are keenly looking forward to next year’s round of Expos.
