We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tess Pendle as our Business Unit Director

Having sustained increasing growth since it was founded in 2012, CI Projects is looking to further expand its client base and diversify its offer. With this in mind we have appointed Tess Pendle to head up our Business Unit.

Tess’s experience spans the private, public and social sectors and covers a diverse range of disciplines, including business start-up, transformation and service improvement, managing organisational restructures, planning and implementing operational and cultural changes, contract negotiation, and creating collaborative and sustainable partnerships in all areas of her work. Tess’s significant career milestones include setting up and managing a profitable London office for a French insurance broker, spending three years in West Africa working with a locally run microfinance institution, building operational capacity and increasing its loan portfolio by 500%. She also established and ran the Department of Health’s pioneering £100 million Social Enterprise Investment Fund; the first government social fund to offer non-grant finance. Tess has also held senior positions in the field of health sector private public partnerships. Tess is a qualified mediator; holding the National Certificate in Workplace Mediation.

“I am delighted and privileged to have been appointed to this post” said Tess. “The values that CI Projects advocates are truly embodied in its culture and in the behaviour and work of its personnel. Striving to deliver added value for clients and positively impacting their ways of working is the focus of CIP’s ambition and this is an approach I fully espouse. It is a very exciting time in the life of the company and my wish is to contribute as much as possible to its development, working with the team to take the business to its next phase of success and beyond.”
